Bridge Champ runs an ACBL sanctioned tournament every day. You play 12 boards with bots, at your own pace, and the masterpoints you win go to your ACBL account. This page has everything: where the tournament is, what it costs, how to link your ACBL account, how to buy credits, and where your points show up.
WHERE
Tournaments lobby
Look for ACBL Masterpoints 24h MP12, the card with the ACBL seal.
WHEN
Every day
A new one opens each day. You have 24 hours to finish it, whenever suits you.
WHAT
12 boards with bots
Matchpoints. You sit South with three bots and always hold the best hand.
COST
225 credits
About 2.25 US dollars. No partner needed, nothing to pay for one.
YOU NEED
An ACBL link
A Bridge Champ account linked to your ACBL number, plus credits in your wallet.
Masterpoints can only be sent to an ACBL member number. So, before you play, sign in to Bridge Champ with your ACBL member number and password. You do it once, and it works both on the website and in the app. Pick where you play and follow the guide.
Credits are the currency of Bridge Champ. One entry to the daily ACBL tournament costs 225 credits. The free welcome credits you earn by playing are not enough for an entry, so most players buy a pack with a card. 100 credits cost 1 US dollar, and you can pay in US dollars or euros.
Click Tournaments in the left menu. The daily event is called ACBL Masterpoints 24h MP12 and its card carries the ACBL seal. Can't see it? Type ACBL in the search box of the filter, or tick Paid under Price. The card shows the price (225), the scoring (MPs), the start time in your local time and the time left to play.
Type ACBL in the search box: today's event and the next one. The small ⧉ sign means it repeats every day.
Click the card. The tournament page shows the details. The ones that matter:

The tournament page. ACBL sanctioned: Yes at the right of the strip, and Play Now below.
Click Play Now. A Registration fee window opens. It shows the cost, your balance, and one more line that tells you whether the masterpoints will reach you:
The line says
What to do
Masterpoints will be awarded to your ACBL account number.
All good. Click Pay 225 credits.
You have no ACBL number linked to your account, so no masterpoints will be awarded to you.
Click Cancel and link your ACBL account first (step 1). You can still play without points, but the fee is the same.
Your ACBL account number is not verified, so no masterpoints will be awarded to it.
Sign out, sign in with ACBL again and try once more. If the line stays, write to us.
Your ACBL account number is not in the ACBL roster, so no masterpoints will be awarded to it.
Your membership does not appear in the ACBL's list of members. Check with the ACBL, then write to us.
You need N more credits.
Click Open wallet and buy a pack (step 2), then come back.
The fee window. This player has no ACBL number linked, so the orange line warns that no masterpoints would be awarded.
GOOD TO KNOW
Only pay when the line says the points will reach you
The fee is charged whether or not you are linked. If the window shows an orange warning, cancel, fix the link, and come back: the event stays open all day.
After you pay you are taken straight to your table. You sit South, with three bots, and you are always dealt the best hand at the table.
Play at your own pace. Click Leave to pause: the board you are on is kept. When you come back to the tournament page the button reads Continue.
Finish all 12 boards before the clock on the card runs out. The event lasts 24 hours from the time it opened.
In a sanctioned event Undo and the suit split hint are switched off, for everyone.
When you finish, the results open by themselves as soon as you leave the table. You can also open them later from Results on the tournament page or from History.
Playing a bots tournament for the first time? The table, the bidding box and the clock are explained in Tournaments and In Game.
In the results of a sanctioned event there is a Masterpoints column (MPs), next to your section and strat, with a note that the points are reported to the ACBL at the beginning of next month, and a link View your ACBL masterpoints.
In your profile, the ACBL masterpoints block shows two numbers: Held (ACBL roster), your official total as the ACBL has it, and Pending, the points you won on Bridge Champ that have not been reported yet.
Once a month, at the beginning of the month, Bridge Champ sends the ACBL every award not reported yet. Your pending points then move to your official total, and you will see them in your ACBL account as well.
How many points you win depends on where you finish and on how many players took part, by the ACBL's rules for online sanctioned events.
Yes. Open Tournaments in the app and look for the same card. Credits are bought on the website, and they are in your wallet in the app too.
Do I need a partner?
No. Your partner is a bot, and so are the opponents. There is nothing to arrange and no partner fee.
I am not an ACBL member. Can I play?
You can play the event, but no masterpoints are given, and the fee is the same. The free daily bots events are a better choice.
Is every ACBL event 225 credits?
The fee is set by the number of boards: 225 credits under 18 boards, 425 credits from 18 boards. The daily event has 12 boards. In an event where you pay for a bot partner, you pay the fee twice.
Can I cancel after paying?
If you cancel your registration before you play, the fee goes back to your wallet. Once you have started the boards, the entry is used.
When do the points reach the ACBL?
At the beginning of the month after you played. Until then they show as Pending in your profile.
