¶ Bridge Champ Game Credits
Play 10 games with bots to receive a 100-credit welcome bonus!
Credits are the in-platform currency on Bridge Champ, used to join tournaments and challenge other players. Creating a team or a team match is free. You can earn them by playing, and you can also buy them with a card (see Buying credits below). New players can easily earn their first credits by playing with bots:
- Use the Play with Bots option from the main screen to start casual games.
- Complete 10 games: no matter the score, you will automatically receive 100 free credits in your wallet.
- These credits can be used for tournaments and other activities on the platform. Creating a team or a team match is free.
¶ How to Earn Your First 100 Credits
¶ Requesting Additional Credits
If your credit balance drops to 12 or fewer credits, you can request free credits directly from your wallet. Eligible users will receive an instant bonus of 36 credits once the request is approved.
Eligibility conditions:
- You must have 12 or fewer credits.
- At least 24 hours must have passed since your last credit request.
- The daily platform limit of 1,440 free credits must not have been reached.
- You must have already received the initial 100-credit welcome bonus.
How to request credits:
- Go to your Wallet by clicking either your profile picture (top-left corner) or your credit balance on the main screen.
- Click the Request Credits button.
- If eligible, a confirmation message will appear, and 36 credits will be instantly added to your balance.
¶ How to Request More Credits When You Run Out
¶ Buying credits
Open your Wallet: click your profile picture (top left) and choose Wallet, or click your credit balance on the Home page. Click Buy Credits, choose the currency (euros or US dollars) and a pack of credits, check the price shown, and click Pay. You are taken to our card payment provider to finish the purchase, then back to Bridge Champ, and the credits appear in your wallet a moment later.
- Credits come in packs of 500, 1,000, 2,000 and 5,000. One US dollar buys 100 credits, so the 500 pack costs 5 US dollars and the 5,000 pack costs 50 US dollars. The price in euros follows the daily exchange rate and is shown before you pay.
- Your email address must be verified before you can buy (profile picture, Account, Verify Email).
- If you close the payment page or it expires, your card is not charged and you can try again from the Wallet.
- In the mobile app, credits are bought on the Bridge Champ website, not in the app.
¶ Platform Credit Fees
- Tournament Creation: free. Creating a tournament costs no credits.
- Tournament Registration: Typically 1 credit (may vary by event). If the director cancels the tournament before it starts, every registration fee is refunded automatically. When you cancel your own registration, the fee goes back to your balance and the tournament page tells you how much was refunded.
- ACBL sanctioned bot tournaments: the entry fee is set by the number of boards (225 credits for events under 18 boards, 425 credits from 18 boards). If you play with a bot partner you pay the fee for yourself and the same again for the bot. The exact amount, and your balance, are shown on the registration dialog before you click Pay. - When you run low, request 36 free credits from your Wallet (see Requesting Additional Credits above).
- Rated games are free and do not give credits.
¶ Additional Credit Features
- Transfer credits to other players or accounts.
- No limits on the number or size of transactions.
- Each transaction includes a small fee of 0.01 credits.
- All transactions are recorded in your wallet and accessible from your profile.
