- Recurring tournaments. Tournaments can now repeat automatically on a daily, 3-day or weekly schedule, and club owners can schedule recurring tournaments for their club members. (3436)
- Goulash tournaments. Tournaments can be run in goulash mode, where hands are redealt in packets for wilder card distributions. (3488)
- Team matches reworked. (3532)
- A team match is arranged on a single page: pick the Team Match tile, fill a short settings form, seat yourself, invite players or add bots, and press Start Match once both teams are registered. Creating a team or a team match is free.
- Matches are no longer played against the clock: the match ends when its boards are played, and nobody is replaced by a bot for thinking (timers can still be set explicitly). An arrangement nobody starts expires after a day.
- Spectators can watch a team match live, switch between its two tables and see what the other room played, unless the creator disables "Allow kibitzers". A new barometer option can hide the running score from both squads until the match ends.
- A director who stays out of the seats keeps full director powers over both tables; a director who plays loses the view of the other table.
- Team matches no longer appear in the general All/Scheduled/Running listings; running matches show under Kibitz when watching is allowed, and participants find theirs under My. Match invitations are shown before plain team invitations, and match results open directly on the two-team score card.
- Creating any tournament now takes you straight to its page instead of back to the list.
- Preset deal sets with non-consecutive board numbers now play all their deals in order instead of silently replacing some with random boards. (3530)
- Multi-session tournaments. Only the organizer of a multi-session tournament can add sessions to it, and the tournament creation form offers attaching the new tournament to one of your multi-session tournaments. Saving an edit form no longer resets fields that were not part of the edit, such as a tournament's series link or a director call's status. (3463)
- Registration and partner fixes. Players already registered in a tournament no longer appear when choosing a partner; you and your partner are notified when your registration is cancelled; accepting an already-cancelled pair invitation shows a clear message instead of opening the tournament page. (3437)
- Tournament pages now show whether the deals are random, preset or template-generated, and the description is now visible on mobile. (3437)
- Bid explanations in game results are larger and easier to read, and are now visible in the director's table preview. (3437)
- Bidding quizzes. Club admins can create bidding quizzes for their members, who answer from a table-style view with the bidding box and see their score and ranking. (3464)
- Usage tab. Club owners get a Usage tab listing the members who actively played in the club's tournaments each month. (3464)
- Club owners no longer receive platform-wide club administration rights; they keep full control of their own club. (3520)
¶ Deal source and hand editor
- BBO handviewer links can now be imported into the deal source, and the hand editor saves board number changes correctly. (3548)
- Importing a file into a deal source set now skips boards that already exist in the set and reports them by board number, instead of failing the whole import. (3503)
- PBN files that record director rulings (skipped or insufficient bids, revokes, adjusted results) now import as deals instead of failing. (3552)
¶ Tables and teaching
- Teaching tables: card swap. Teachers can swap unplayed cards between hands during a lesson to change a board's outcome mid-game, and revert a swap with the regular undo button. (3538)
- Table privacy settings now prevent selecting contradictory options. (3360)
- Fixed the template list's options menu opening off-screen for templates near the bottom of the list. (3513)
¶ Chat and sharing
- You can now open and read your private chats even while you or the other player is in a game; sending resumes once the game is over. (3448)
- Share with QR code. Every share button now opens a dialog with the link and a Bridge Champ QR code you can download and print. (3507)
¶ Account and sign-in
- Accounts created through Google or another external sign-in can now set a password from the Account screen, and no longer see a change-password form they could never use. (3533, 3505)
- Changing your username no longer allows taking names reserved for internal use. (3524)
- ACBL membership data is now refreshed automatically every day. (3521)
- Fixed Facebook sign-in in the Android app doing nothing when the Facebook app is installed. (3540)
- Fixed the confirmation-code screen on mobile not opening the keyboard. (3518)
- Cleaner web addresses across the app; every previously shared link and bookmark keeps working. (3526)
- On phones, the website no longer blocks you with a full-screen app prompt; pages show their content with a small dismissible "Play in the app" bar instead. (3527)
- Fixed an issue where an update could leave the site blank until the browser cache was cleared. (3509)
- File uploads no longer fail after a long session, so sending feedback or changing your picture works whenever you get around to it. (3508)
- Fixed the app sometimes sending invalid placeholder values to the server, which could cause errors on the sign-in, account and shared-result pages. (3447)
- Fixed several cases where the server answered with an unexpected error instead of a normal message when leaving a table, registering or signing in. (3515)
- Upgraded the game server's core web engine to the latest generation for continued security updates, and added modern response compression so pages and game data load faster. (3497)
