¶ Introduction
In this update, we've addressed various bugs and improved several features across the platform.
¶ Bug Fixes and Improvements
¶ General
- Upgraded the Italian translations [3201]
- The video box is now displayed with more natural colors and higher contrast [3199]
- Fixed newsletter opt-in preference not being saved during registration [3194]
- Fixed the highlighting effect of the next hand to play [3186]
- Fixed incorrect vulnerability display in deal source hand editor - now uses actual board index instead of display number [3163]
- Made "Friends", "Following", and "Followers" counts clickable to navigate directly to the Friends page with the correct tab selected [3163]
- New claim algorithm [2985]
¶ Tournaments/Challenges
- Pairs tournament now correctly displays the results per round [3202]
- A tournament director can now undo and claim on any table [3192]
- It is no longer allowed to create more than one scheduled or running tournament with the same title [3191]
- Shared tournament results are no longer cutoff when displayed on a small screen [3190]
- Duplicating a tournament now duplicates the tournament logo [3189]
- Round progress button was added to the tournament table to allow the players to check the overall round status during the round [3187]
- When a director returns from the tournament table to the management console undefined values are no longer being displayed [3185]
- Added club logo display alongside country flag in tournament listings [3163]
¶ Vugraph
- Suit shortcuts are now supported when updating an alert while broadcasting a vugraph session [3178]
¶ Club-Specific Timelines [3168]
- Clubs now have their own dedicated timeline. Members can switch between the global Bridge Champ timeline and their club timelines using a selector.
- Club admins can create, edit, and delete timeline posts for their club.
- Club timeline posts display the author's avatar and username instead of the Bridge Champ logo.
¶ Bots [3158]
Added bidding sequences over 1nt opening and 2nt opening:
- 1n-2c stayman (can be strong with a minor)
- 1n-2d/2h Jacoby transfer: we superaccept with 3h/3s with minimum, with 2N with maximum
- 1n-2s: minor transfer: weak with a minor
- 1n-2n is invitational with no interest in majors
- 1n-3C is weak with both minors
- 1n-3D is game forcing with both minors
- 1n-3H/3S is singleton, with 5-4 in the minors and 3 cards in the other major
- 1n-4c is 55 major
- 1n-4d/4h is Texas transfer
Over 2n:
- 3c puppet stayman, where 3d is at least one 4-card major, 3h and 3s show 5 cards, 3n no majors
- 3d and 3h are Jacoby transfer: 2n-3d-3h-4h is slam try with 6+ hearts
- 3s is relay to 3n, with a strong minor
- 4c is 55 major
- 4d and 4h are Texas transfer for 4h and 4s (only game forcing, with stronger hands bid jacoby transfer at the 3-level and then raise)
- 4s is at least 5-5 minor (not 5-5-3 because you use 3C puppet to find a Major fit)
