¶ Introduction
In this update, we've addressed various bugs and improved several features across the platform.
¶ Bug Fixes and Improvements
¶ General
- Dashboard loading times were optimized [3154]
- Improved performance for chat loading, tournament results, and tournament listing [3153]
¶ Bots - bidding-related fixes [3155][3151][3140]
- After my preemptive opening bid, if partner bids a new suit, I don't bid 3NT since I don't have stoppers in all unbid suits
- Don't ask for aces when partner signs off in a major.
- Fixed a small bug when the bid goes 1m-1M-2N-3c-3N
- Suit bids after 1m-1y-2N are forcing, slam try.
- Fixed subsequent bids, after indirect overcalls.
- When partner overcalled a minor, we can end up in notrump even with fit, while if partner overcalled a major, with fit we always play 4 in the major and not 3nt.
- 4h or 4s by the fourth, after opening-pass-pass, are to play, not strong bids.
- Fixed a bug where we used to always bid if we had support in one of partner's suits after he showed a two-suiter.
- Fixed a bug after opponents double our stayman or jacoby transfer.
- Fixed some passes after misunderstood bids. We now fall back to suits with established fit.
- Small fix on strength for indirect overcall, based on a different point system.
- Add invitational jump new suit response after partner's direct overcall.
- Fix a bug on responses after partner's takeout double.
- Fix a bug on request for stopper when opponents showed length implicitly by doubling an artificial bid.
- Fix some bids where we have a strong fit after 4th suit forcing.
- All successive doubles after a penalty double are now marked as penalty.
- Fix a bug where we were passing after a 4n response not on the established fit but where we had length.
- Adjust some conditions for control bids to show fit in majors.
- Adjust strength for 1m-1M-2M and 1m-1M-3M
- Fix a nasty bug after stayman when opponents overcall.
- Fix some explanation bugs.
- General bidding improvements.
- Misunderstood bids are now classified as natural or artificial.
- Checkback after 1m-1M-1N. 2clubs checkback, with 2D and 2N showing no fit (minimum and maximum), 3 in the major showing fit with a minimum hand, 3 in the other major showing fit with a maximum hand.
- After 1m-1M-2N, 3c is checkback stayman, where 3D shows both 3 cards in partner's suit and 4 cards in the other major, 3N shows no fit and no 4 cards in the other major. All suits after 2N are forcing. Only weak bid after 1m-1M-2N is pass.
- Minor fixes on quantitative notrump bids, compared to direct 6NT.
- Add slam try bid in partner's suit after transfer over 1NT.
- Fix minor bugs, when reopening after opponents' slam opening bids.
- 1m-1M-3M is 15-17 with 4-cards support.
