At Bridge Champ, the tournament creation dialog is split into different sections.
In this page we'll go through all the sections and we'll look at all the settings required to create a tournament.
Here you'll enter the tournament info that will be shown on the tournament page. Tournament Title and Description are mandatory.
You can greet players with a personalized message and, if necessary, you can indicate a Country and Club for your tournament.
Whoever creates the tournament will be designated as Chief Director.
You can remove yourself and add any other User as a Director by searching their username, name or email.
You can appoint as many additional directors as needed. Directors can't register to tournaments.
You can set any date and time for when your tournament should start.
Don't worry, if players are not ready by the starting time, you can postpone it.
Similarly, if players are ready before the starting time, you can manually start the tournament.
Registration format
Here you can select what type of tournament you want to run. Avaiable formats are Individuals, Pairs and Teams
Deal set
Here you can preset what deals will be played on the tournament. If no deals are selected, the system will generate them randomly.
On the board settings you can set the Number of Rounds and the Boards per Round.
Below that, you can set the Minutes per Board and Max Seconds per Move (setting the time to 0 means that there're no time limits).
In case the user doesn't make a move within the time limit, he's kicked out of the table and possibly replaced by a bot, depending on the tournament bots policy.
