ΒΆ Play Rated
With version 1.3.0 we have introduced rated games!
Rated games are very similar to casual games. A User sitting south plays against 3 bots, and the same board is played by different players. Once a board is played enough times, the results are compared based on the table's scoring method. The players scoring the highest scores will be rewarded.
To encourage fair play, unlike a default casual table, a rated table:
- does not allow undo of game moves
- does not allow kibitzers
- does not allow preset boards
Every game played on a rated table has a registration fee paid by the player.
The board reward is calculated as percentage of the total game registration fees for the board, split between the players gaining the highest scores.
A percentage of the total board registration fees is paid back to the system as commission.
The registration fee is paid when the bidding stage is over and before the play starts. Rewards are distributed at the end of the game after the board was played enough times.
The initial Rated Tables Reward parameters are as follows:
- Game registration fee per board: 1 credit.
- Rated board reward is distributed after the board was played 4 times.
- System commission per board: 20% of total registration fees.
- Player rewards are distributed by splitting the total board reward to 40%, 30%, 20%, 10% of the total reward minus the system commission.
i.e.
Registration is 1 credit per user, 4 users = 4 credits
20% is collected as system commission = 0.8 credits
4 - 0.8 = 3.2
3.2 credits are distributed to players as follow:
- 1st place: 40% of 3.2 = 1.28 credits
- 2nd place: 30% of 3.2 = 0.96 credits
- 3rd place: 20% of 3.2 = 0.64 credits
- 4th place: 10% of 3.2 = 0.32 credits
