¶ Rated Games
A rated game is a free game against three bots that counts towards your rating. Other players get the same board, and once 4 of them have played it, the results are compared and your rating is updated.

¶ Overview
A rated game looks like a free game with bots: you sit South and three bots take the other seats. The difference is that the board is not yours alone. The same board goes to other players, and once 4 players have played it, the results are compared using the table's scoring method. The board's results then show how your rating changed.
To keep things fair, a rated table does not allow:
- Undo of bids and cards
- Kibitzers
- Preset boards (boards you prepared yourself)
Rated games are free since Bridge Champ 2026.10.3 (October 2026). There is no entry fee and there are no credit prizes.
Your rating is the number next to the trophy at the top of the Home page.
¶ How to start a rated game
For now, rated games start from the old home page. The new home page does not have a rated button yet. Until it does, switch to the old home page for a moment, as shown below. We will update this guide as soon as that changes.
¶ Step 1: Switch to the old home page
At the top of the Home page, click the ⇄ icon next to the word Home. A small window opens: Switch to the old home page. Click Switch.
¶ Step 2: Click Play Now
On the old home page, click Play Now at the top right.
¶ Step 3: Click Rated play
The Play Now window opens. The Rate your play card is at the top right: click Rated play. A table with three bots opens, with you in the South seat.
¶ Step 4: Go back to the new home page
When you have finished, click the ⇄ icon at the top left of the old home page, then click Switch in the Switch to the new home page window. Bridge Champ remembers your choice on this browser.
In the mobile app, rated play is in the Play Now window too.
¶ Your results
Open History in the left menu. Your rated games are in the Casual Games tab, with your other games. Once 4 players have played a board, its results show how your rating changed. See Game Results.
