¶ Open the Deal Source Menu
Navigate to the Deal Source menu:
- On the left side of the screen, click on the Deal Source button.
- Choose the folder where you want to create the deal.
¶ Create a New Deal
- Inside the folder, click on Add Deals.
- A prompt will appear asking how many deals you want to create.
- Set the desired number of deals, select Empty as the deal type, and press Create.
The new deal will now appear inside the selected folder.
¶ Launch the Hand Editor
- Click on the deal you just created to open the Hand Editor.
- The Hand Editor allows you to fully customize the hands of each player (North, South, East, and West) by assigning specific constraints.
¶ Set High Card Points (HCP)
- To customize the high card points for a player:
- Next to the player’s direction (e.g., North, South, East, West), click the + icon.
- Set a range for the high card points, up to a maximum of 37.
- Click Apply Constraints to update the deal.
This generates a hand where the specified player’s total HCP falls within the chosen range.
¶ Adjust Suit Distribution
- To customize the suit distribution for a player:
- Next to each suit (Spades, Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs), click the + icon.
- Set a range for the number of cards in that suit.
- Repeat for other suits as needed, ensuring the hand aligns with your desired distribution.
- Click Apply Constraints to generate a hand that matches both the HCP and suit distribution settings.
¶ Review and Save Your Deal
- After applying constraints, carefully review all the configurations you’ve made to ensure the hand or board meets your requirements.
- Once satisfied, press the Save button to store your customized deal.
¶ Play the Deal
- To play the deal you created, press the Play button.
- This action will load the exact deal you customized onto the screen, allowing you to play it immediately.
