The Defenders Suit Break feature has been added to the right game menu. Once you enter the playing stage, you will see it available. This tool provides valuable insights into the expected distribution of missing cards between the defender hands, helping you make better strategic decisions.
Playing 4H in this position has already resulted in the loss of three tricks. Losing any more tricks is not an option, meaning I must capture the opponent’s K♥.
Considering the full distribution, my chances are very small. To succeed, I need a 2:1 distribution (not 3:0) and for the king to be a singleton. This scenario occurs 13% of the time per side (39% divided by 3) so 26% in total.
However, given that East has already ruffed with the J♥, only two hearts remain at the defenders hands, and there are nine cards remaining in each hand. This improves my chances of catching the king by playing the ace to 52.94%.
Bridge Champ now provides this visualization both in a casual table format and during play with bots, offering valuable insights for analyzing suit break scenarios.
Unfortunately, even with a 53% probability of success, it didn’t work this time.
