¶ Introduction
In this update, we've addressed various bugs and improved several features across the platform.
¶ What's new
¶ Play in portrait
You can now play with your phone held upright. Choose your preferred table orientation — vertical or horizontal, locked or following the sensor — in the game's Table Options. You'll also find new display options for the side hands and card sizes.
¶ Links that open in the app
Links to Bridge Champ tournaments, results, and challenges now open directly in the app when it is installed. A new QR-friendly link will either open the app or take new players to the App Store.
¶ Easier profile pictures
Changing your profile picture now takes just one tap. Take a new photo or choose one from your device, and it will update immediately. We've also added a new button for removing your profile picture.
¶ Bug Fixes and Minor Improvements
- Sending feedback with large photos no longer disconnects you. Uploads are faster, and a clear message now appears when a file is too large.
- At a round break, or when a tournament ends, you are now taken to the tournament details page.
- Fixed an issue that prevented audio and video from starting in the next round.
- If something unexpected happens, the app now shows a friendly reload screen instead of going blank. Error reporting has also been improved so we can find and fix problems faster.
- The app platform was upgraded for smoother performance.
